Mid-Atlantic Storage Acquisition Group Director, Monty Spencer is an accomplished real estate executive and owner with 20 years of commercial experience. The winner of multiple CoStar® Power Broker of the Year and Commercial Real Estate Council awards, Monty has represented many national and regional tenant/users in the marketplace. Distinguished throughout the industry for developing dozens of high profile retail projects, Monty has brought his unique blend of expertise and ambition to spearheading the Mid-Atlantic Storage Acquisition Group since 2014.

Jonathan Cutler

Jonathan Cutler joined The Storage Acquisition Group in 2016. As the owner of Cutler Enterprises, Inc. and the former Director of Acquisition, Purchasing and Estimating for KB Home, Jonathan brings over 20 years of commercial real estate, development and land use experience to the group. His in-depth knowledge of acquisitions, corporate structure and organizational behavior contribute greatly to the superior experience we provide our clients. Jonathan currently resides in Kansas with his wife and four children.

Pam Arms

Pam Arms brings to the team a vast background in research, development and implementation of complex projects. She is experienced in all phases of self storage construction and management including zoning, permitting, planning, and specifications.

Prior to real estate, Mrs. Arms retired from a successful career in the area of information technology. She has sat on many boards locally, statewide and nationally setting industry standards and establishing governing bodies. During this time, she worked with/for government agencies and subcontractors.

Fred Paris

Fred has been focused on the acquisition of self storage assets for The Storage Acquisition Group for four years. Prior to that, he represented a Walgreens Developer and The Staubach Company in site location work, as well as listed and sold commercial property during his previous 11 years in commercial real estate. Prior to that, he was in Economic Development at the local, regional, and state level in Virginia and New York State. Locating such companies as Symantec Corporation, Nextel Communications, and John Deere Vehicle Group in areas he represented.

David Spencer

David Spencer grew up just outside of Columbia, South Carolina. Except for five years spent abroad in Austria, he has called Decatur, Georgia, home for the last twenty years. He began working with the Storage Acquisition Group in 2016 to develop and assist with acquisition opportunities across the Southeast. David’s comprehensive background in real estate development, telecommunications, technology, and environmental regulation enable him to navigate complex deals and keep projects moving in a positive direction for all parties.

Bill Sitar

William Sitar Jr., Esq., joined The Storage Acquisition Group in 2016. As the Vice President of Sitar Realty Company, he brings a wealth of knowledge to the group. Mr. Sitar’s diverse background in real estate brokerage, legal services, development and the financial sector enable him to provide comprehensive solutions during the acquisition process. In addition to being a licensed New Jersey real estate salesperson, Mr. Sitar has a law license in both New Jersey and Pennsylvania. In 2008, he was recognized as an “All-Star Commercial Real Estate Broker” by Real Estate New Jersey. Mr. Sitar holds a Master of Business Administration from St. Peter’s College located in Jersey City, N.J., a J.D. from Seton Hall University located in Newark, N.J. and a Bachelor of Arts from Boston College.

John Cranley

John Cranley joined The Storage Acquisition Group in 2017. He is a Sales Associate of Sitar Company, a full-service commercial real estate firm based in New Jersey. In his role as Associate with the group, Mr. Cranley focuses on acquisition opportunities in New Jersey and the Northeast. Mr. Cranley uses his experience in commercial transactions to meet the needs of self storage facility owners looking to sell. Prior to joining Sitar in 2014, Mr. Cranley spent 25+ years working in finance, primarily in the Institutional equity trading department of Morgan Stanley, holding Series 7, 24, 55, 63 & 65 licenses. Mr. Cranley is a licensed New Jersey Real Estate Salesperson. He received his B.A. degree in American Studies from Middlebury College. Mr. Cranley resides in Summit, New Jersey, his home of 20+ years.

Andrew Burachinsky

Based out of New Jersey, Andrew became a member of The Storage Acquisition Group in 2018. Prior to his career in commercial real estate, Andrew spent the majority of his career working as an accountant for a private equity fund manager focused on institutional-quality real estate investments in Latin America. He utilizes his knowledge and experience in Finance & Accounting to provide an edge in the constantly changing self-storage industry.

Andrew received his Bachelor of Science degree with a major in Finance from Rutgers University and his Masters of Business Administration with a concentration in Management from Centenary College.

Scott Eckert

Scott Eckert joined The Storage Acquisition Group in 2017 to source acquisition opportunities throughout the Mid-Atlantic region. Scott’s background is in real estate appraisal and valuation assignments of multifamily property throughout Virginia. Scott received his B.S. degree from Virginia Commonwealth University and later earned his MBA from the College of William and Mary’s Mason School of Business with an emphasis in Entrepreneurship and Real Estate.

Chris Nielsen

Chris has been involved in the acquisition of investment property and development for over 10 years in the Midwest. After being recruited back to Nebraska from Washington D.C in 2007 to work on a Senate campaign, he became interested in economic development and real estate. His experience spans a 17 state footprint and transactions involving warehouses, enclosed malls, power centers, multifamily, 1031 exchanges and single triple net investments. He joined the Storage Acquisition Group in 2016 and has been applying his expertise to acquisition opportunities in the Midwest.

Greg Vanlergerghe

Greg joined The Storage Acquisition Group in 2018; he is also a Senior Vice President at LevRose Commercial Real Estate located in Scottsdale, Arizona. Prior to joining The Storage Acquisition Group and LevRose, Greg concentrated primarily on Tenant and Landlord Representation for a wide variety of local and national retail tenants while at both Sperry Van Ness and DeRito Partners. Greg started his commercial real estate career with DBSI Real Estate, LLC, in 2004 specializing in assisting financial institutions with expansion strategy and site selection. Over the next six year he exclusively represented Bank of Arizona, Western State Bank, Choice Bank, Silver State Bank, TruWest Credit Union, Arizona Federal Credit Union, First Credit Union, Pinal County Credit Union, and Marisol Credit Union.

Robin Johnson

Robin Johnson is a Long Island, New York native. She worked as an Administrative Assistant to the Chairman of Children's Dentistry, School of Dental Medicine, State University of New York at Stony Brook for 39 years. During that time she had two articles published in respected dental journals as well as working with graduate and undergraduate dental students. After relocating to Williamsburg, Virginia she worked at Williamsburg Storage with Pam Arms prior to joining The Storage Acquisition Group as Pam Arms’ Executive Assistant.

The property offers 106,000 gross sq ft with 1,089 climate controlled units, electronic gate access, video surveillance, and more. Acquired August 2018.

Petra Storage Solutions - Opelika, AL

This newly built facility has a total of 459 units and 75,000 gross sq ft of storage space. Acquired August 2018.

Monster Self Storage – Summerville and Simpsonville, SC

This portfolio property featured two Monster storage facilities with a combined total of 1,453 units and over 200,000 gross sq ft of storage space. Acquired April 2018.

Monster Self Storage – Greenville, SC

This location has 348 self storage units and measures 40,920 gross sq ft. Acquired March 2018

Warren Storage Center – Warren, Rhode Island

This property covers 63,000 gross sq ft, with 451 self storage units, indoor and outdoor parking, office and warehouse spaces. Acquired February 2018.
